Monkey

Yesterday, at Riaz’s rugby tournament, Aiman was climbing on a picnic table and took a header off the bench.  He bashed his face into the ground, bit his tongue and ate at least a half a cup of dirt.  He was not too pleased, but he got over it.

Whenever Aiman climbs on things I always think that I should run over and pull him down off of whatever he is climbing on to keep him safe.  But the cold hard truth is that this kid is a little monkey and trying to keep him from climbing on furniture, park benches, trees, stumps, and whatever else he can get his little monkey arms and legs on, is as pointless as trying to keep him from being the most adorable kid in the history of the world (in other words … pointless).  The kid was born half monkey half boy, I can’t deny his nature.  Even if it means he eats dirt every once in a while.

Whatchya lookin at mom?!

Don’t mind me, I’m just over here on the ottoman flicking light switches.  Just go about your business lady.

Fine, I’m adorable.  Take my picture and post it on your blog so everyone can tell you how super sweet and cute I am.
